of the Neolithic monuments at Avebury closely followed the heavens.

the unique Winter Solstice skies of 2010 Our annual talk on the
Winter Solstice / Milky Way alignment of our times. We will describe
the dawn ceremony on St Edmund Hill: where the Sun (if visible)
rising over the Tor, is aligned with the Earth, the full Moon
(eclipsed), and the two galactic gateways of Gemini and Sagittarius.
